What did you do with your Range Rover today

Morning Brian, We always stay at Carnon Downs camp site, have been staying there for years now, it's nice and qiute, very clean and has good size pitches. I like it because you are central to most of Cornwall and there is the Shell garage two minutes away!!!!

    Hot start issue.

The coolant sensor sits behind the air con compressor at the front of the valley gasket, but your problem sounds like the CPS, the one above the bottom pulley, normally hard to start when hot is a sign that the sensor is giving up the ghost.

    airbags changed suspension being weird.

Hi, as Datatek says ECU failure is very rare but I did suffer from that, my Rangie was doing all sorts of weird stuff and took me months to finally get sorted as it did turn out to be the ECU, I have a spare if you would like to try it on yours but you will have to recalibrate all your heights...

    Rough/Lump running

Swapped my leads out without removing inlet manifold, drop her to lowest setting, remove lead brackets then you can slide your hands down the back. You may have to give the lead a little twist cos the rubber tends to stick to the coil packs, take your time and it's not a bad job.

    EAS Compressor - seized

I think that the relay you refer too only comes into play once the car has been switched off. The car wakes up every few hours and does its self levelling thing, I have stopped that happening by simply replacing the relay with a standard 4 pin relay like the yellow ones in your fuse box, it...

    Whistle....

The bellow is the the black rubber dome where the pipes connect into, if you remove the bracket from the EAS box there is a electrical conector underneath that is worth checking, also if you suck on the rubber tube that connects to the below it should fold in if not the bellow may be split.

    Whistle....

As Datatek says plus check electrical connection under bellow and also the rubber bellow itself.

    Throttle body heater

I put a new one on about 6 months ago, just spotted it weeping again so have replaced with yet another new one but have smeared some sealant on the new gasket this time to see if that works, if not will just bypass it.

Have all V8 owners got a stiff one?

Throttle that is, just thought I would ask if anybody else suffers from a heavy throttle pedal? Have disconnected cable from housing and it slides nice and easy withi in the outer casing and moves the pedal up and down but once connected back at the housing it feels heavy, if that makes sense...

    Is This Normal?

Yes, they generally are, many previous owners seem to either forget or not bother to change them, mine was the same when I got mine, also a good idea to change your plenum sponge too if it has not been done.

    Is This Normal?

To be fair, had mine , 4.6 Thor , for two years now and has never failed to start, never beeped at me yet and always drives great, check them over on a regular basis and they seem to behave ok.

Have you refilled per Rave, blown through hose from top of rad to expansion tank to make sure it's clear, I have emptied and refilled my cooling system umpteen times due to replacing hoses, pump, o rings and never had any issues. I start by clearing said hose, then whilst filling now an then...
