Look at what my mate's just bought !

It's a bespoke patio log-burner come BBQ - looks beautiful with it's Triumph and motorcycle design elements, but the guy who makes them does anything and everything your heart desires. Artisan details: [email protected] 07463957794 Ask for Tracey or Cam (Cameron)

P38 FOR SALE -REPAIR OR PARTS

Hi Mozz, I know this is a message you won't want to hear but honestly it's just too much money for a 15 year old car that has a bit of a reputation for being not great on the reliability front. Yours does look and sound like it would be a lovely vehicle but I've just had a look around the...

Disco 2 Disco 2 Motorway speed

I've had a number of TD5's both auto and manual and I can say hand on heart that they are an excellent long-distance tourer.I choose to run at about 70 mph as it's a good blend of getting places, without burning too much fuel.

2002 Land Rover Discovery TD5 XS - FSH

If the chassis has got any holes in it, it means it is properly rusted and will soon show more holes. To repair the rear end properly costs £500 to £750 so I also think the asking price is too heavy. I have a friend looking right now (money in pocket!) for a TD5 in the same spec, but couldn't...

    ace bleeding!

If you have the ACE reservoir filled, it should be safe to take the vehicle for shorty but twisty drive, checking/ topping-up the reservoir REGULARLY. The point of the exercise is to do a series of sharp lefts and rights to get the ACE system really pumping. That's why it is ESSENTIAL to...

These are the two things you should have done first. Plus ensure your tyre pressures are up to at least front 32psi; rear 38psi.

Well there you go mate, the answer to my question is, obviously it too long :o:o

    Speedo correction.

OK I see where you are coming from now. It's been a little while since I did this, but I'm pretty sure that if you have a D2 dedicated diagnostic tool such as Nano Evo, Hawkeye or Lynx, you can access a compensation setting within the BCU. Also bear in mind that the latter D1's had an...

Perhaps if you were a little more specific in your request for information, you would get a better response? What are you trying to do? Dave

    Sluggish disco.........not any more!

The tyre sizes will make the final gearing longer so they will dull any acceleration, but you should still be able to do better than 70mph. I would be looking elsewhere. Have you done the following (I've not read this whole thread so forgive me if I duplicate anything): 1. Changed the...
