I think he's talking about the throttle body heater. Not a bad job to do but you will have to take off the "Banana" part of the inlet manifold to get to it. In the mean time to get you out of trouble you can join the two water pipes together and bypass it. Bit fiddly to get to them as the back...

Scratches and little dings are to be expected I guess.My P38 spent most of it's life travelling on Cornish lanes and has a fair few already!! As for ripping quarter panels off, sounds like he was travelling to fast for the given obstacles/conditions.

That won't be happening. Like I said I'm not planning on going mad and in standard trim it really is quite amazing what she will do.

Remember P38's aren't OBD 2 compliant on most systems. If you have a generic scanner it's probably not going to work with your car.

How about getting it plugged in so you can see what the actual fault code is? Better than just trying to swap bits about.

Bloody Jeeves. I had to give him 40 lashes for corrupting my memory card in my phone. Nothing to do with me of course :brick: I'm trying to save my pics but Kato's lost my Micro SD converter. I may just execute him for not clapping hard enough when I give him the job of cleaning the P38. :mil78:
