My P38 ABS light is on & when I press the brake the traction control light comes on, I have fitted 4 new wheel sensors, do I have to reset anything.

How about getting it plugged in so you can see what the actual fault code is? Better than just trying to swap bits about.

was told by a garage that plug it in the most likely problem would be sensors, have got my own scanner now. Where do I plug the scanner in ?

Remember P38's aren't OBD 2 compliant on most systems. If you have a generic scanner it's probably not going to work with your car.

My P38 DHSE is a 2000 on an X. I have looked in the passenger foot-well & removed the kick panel but cant see anywhere to pug a scanner in, is it up behind the glove box ?
Underneath the glove box.
