    P38A Diagnostics

I know it's been done to death , I've searched and read loads and now my heads spinning . My p38 has been good as gold for the 7 years I've had it. So I'm looking at getting some diagnostic gear for when it's needed . I'm thinking nanocom or lynx as I think they do more than the hawkeye ?

Hi new to the forum and in need of a mechanic in Sheffield to have a look at my new freelander1

Sounds like you've been shafted . Take the motor to your nearest vosa test place , get it retested . If the garage that tested it is dodgey they will not want dvsa breathing down there Neck . And you want to know the motor is safe . VOSA Enforcement have a test center in Sheffield .

    Blend motor gears

Mine needed sorting last year , didn't trust me to do it . Paid a geezer 350 Inc set of 3 New motors . It took him 3 hours ,nothing damaged or modified Would have took me forever , wouldn't have gone back the same , Probably had a load of spare bits at the end .

    Blend Motors Time

are you sure they are knackered i got all 3 of mine replaced last year (£400) had a look at the duff one and it was just stuck with the grease that was in there , i think if i had forced it by putting power down the wires it would have cured it . there is some info about doing this on the web...
