    They are sad , do you have gas in that part of the country?. I am pretty sure you have electricery. Powermatic do a nice indiect fired fan heater. You can get a heater that runs on waste oil ,or do you run your car on that?.

    hi there, having problem with td5 gearbox, after 15 mile trip gear selection is stiff as no play in selection, then when car is rested for a few hours selection is there again,
    any theories?

    james ive been told your the man for all things lanrover lol just wondered if you could help, i took a load of water on my 200tdi defender and have bent con rods, is there a way of getting the ladder rack/plate off the bottom of the engine without taking the dam thing out, many thank if ya can help, sorry to have bothered ya if not

    Hi Martin
    I refitted the transferbox yesterday its a lot ,lot ,quieter just a very slight whine which I can hardly hear .I will run it for a couple of hundred miles then change the oil perhaps it may bed in we will see ,so thanks again for the help.

    your man with knowledge!, just done EGR blanking kit on my TD5, do you know what you do with the sensor pipes that were on the old EGR? i just want to tidy up under the bonnet and make sure they dont cause any problems,

    Hi James - where are you based amigo? Im looking for someone to setup my new freelander diff correctly, she wines at 75mph. It is the newer TVK000180 type but im sure its the cause of all my transmission noise. IRD has been diagnosed as ok, vcu is brand new with Landrover cariier bearings. Cheers. Im in Norfolk by the way - thanks for your input on my threads also!

    Hi James, I need to weld some plates to the chassis of the 90. What thickness of sheet metal do I need to buy? I have a gassless mig if that matters. Thanks

    thank you earlier for talking me through things on the phone, really appreciate it. Ive primed what you said but my battery has gone flat now and im thinking this may be my problem, got the battery on charge now and hoping it starts in the morning. Ive looked on the net and its the right size but only have a 570 cca and ive seen some were they are 1000, do you think it may be the battery?
