    P38 Glow plug Relay

Hi all, I'm after a 1996 P38 2.5 Glow plug relay, part is marked up as BMW 1221-2 246 473. I could do with one like yesterday as mine has failed & at the moment have bodged a fix. I'm in the North West, but anyone around South Manchester/North Cheshire would be good, failing that I have PayPal...

    2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 Review

Nice Review Pete. It's nice to see a good honest review (including a little humor) from time to time. Stunning motor fella & a really nice colour too, if only eh!, maybe one day. Oh! While your off burning up the miles & enjoying every minute of it, can you get the Butler to sweep those leaves...

    Fitting DRL's

I tried that setting on mine using me Nanocom, it made no difference weather selected or not I had no DRL's. I do recall reading something in Rave about it only being used for certain markets, maybe that's why. Edit. Just found it, copied from Rave. Daytime Running lamps This feature is a...

    Steering Wheel

Torx bolts on the back of the Steering wheel, you can get at them without removing the cowling round the Column if you turn the Steering wheel for access. Can't remember what size Torx off hand, but It's around T25 & use a deep one as there buried deep in the back of the wheel. HTH. ;)

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Hi Eric, Haven't had chance to go out until tonight. The Book symbol hasn't reared it's ugly head :) & it was loverly and warm for a change, unlike getting upto Temp then just cutting back to a lukewarm trickle & the Book symbol showing. I'll stick the Nanocom on Tomorrow & see if that throws...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Fitted the Heater matrix temp sensor this afternoon, a little bit of a fiddle but all done in 20mins. I'll find out Tomorrow if it's sorted out the Intermittent book symbol, wasn't going out specially just to find out, I'm not that rich. Oh! Thanks for the pointers Eric, much appreciated. ;)

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Hi Eric, Thanks for your fast reply, off to order one now. Access doesn't seem to be too bad with the lower Dash panel removed, I can always remove more if needed. Again, many thanks for your help.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Hi Eric, Many thanks for your help. Just to clarify, is this the Sensor you replaced, theres two listed on Island 4X4 neither have images to identify only part numbers. I'm assuming this is the right one Part Number: STC3256.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I think I might have the same problem on mine. Any tips on fitting, I take it it's not much of the dash to come out if it only took 15 mins, also where did you get the Temp sensor from.

    Ayresys Workshop Thread :)

Ah! I see now, best of both worlds. Shame that option wasn't available over here. Really enjoying the thread & the turn it's taken, hope your living life to the full out there. Not jealous at all, honest.:D

is this the most expensive P38 for sale?

No, nor would I. But if you were looking at spunking 20k on engine work why not replace, if so could it be be a small block out of an Overfinch, making it an all together different RR. Not quite original, but having far more reliability than most. Just a thought.
