Caliper bolt heads are bi-hex 13mm the disc to hub are the 14mm ones, if you have a bi-hex 1/2" socket try to use it on calipers, very slightly smaller than 13mm and often better for these bolts, less chance of rounding them.
While checking all bearings spin wheels had one a wee while ago making expensive sounding noises and it turned out to be rust built up inside the disc rubbing on hub as wheel turning.
Vac pumps can make strange tapping noises varying from sounding like a bit heavier than tappet to sounding like a broken piston but would not lead to power loss.
Have you checked all the usual suspects? Anti roll bushes and links as allready said also check all major suspension nut and bolts. Strut bearings can make funny noises and could be a suspect as changes with trailor which can lighten load on them.
