sump welded good place to not to see how bad my welding is. jist electrics to sort , darkness and bust light stoped work so back to it today.

wiz wondering if I could jist swap over engine loom from the n/a onto the 200 tdi with maybe having to lengthen some of the wires and so would just start the same way as n/a as in hold the key to heat the plugs? I'm going to get the sump welded to ,jist got p**sed of by last night

is new oil but jist been lazy about takin aff the sump tae get it sorted. wiz hopin tae hae it gauin fir the morn . nae luck. ach well.

cheers charlsey thats sounds a fine idea or is it possible to heat it up n/a style with existing ignition switch , so would need info on that botch cause Im using the wiring already on the 200 engine, cheers any one. also found a tiny hole in the sump which quite happly dripps oil verry quickly...

have put a defender 200 tdi in the def 90 and has taken ac side of thingsl weekend. everything went fairly well till I got to the electrics engine had all its wiring there so used it but I'm stuck on how to wire up the timer relay to my n/a ignition switch any help welcome. have searched the...

if you use the search function on the top bar you'll be able to find threads on tunning a 200 tdi engine.:)

why do you want to do that, cause all that will happen is water will be directed to one spot rather than a general over all spray which covers more of the window in one go. ?

them sun roofs are bad fer lettin in water too so don't be to quick to rule that oot.

only need 10 secs on my glow plugs , n/a engine , had to hold it for about 20 secs before I put new ones in ,does make a differance and my battery is not the greatist either but that will be getting changed too.

that'll have to be a summit cause the rave disk I've looked at don't cover 200.

don't see why not MHM though don't know about matching up to a series gear box . maybe worth doing a search:D

I down loaded the same and got that dongle thing to, thought it wiz something wrong wi the program or ma compooter . hav'nt a clue other wise. so looks like I could do with a crack ??? to.:confused:

cheers busterbus. I got the temp gauge for the 200 tdi engine I've now bought. Got the gauge when I picked up the engine , asked nicely for it and there was no problem. thanks again.:)

would agree with the servo playing up. so don't do that again ha ha. seriously it maybe on its way out just beware.
