Happy to oblige, I'm working away until September so gonna miss the summer as it is, I'll supply the diesel too! lol Happened after I hired one for a day....next day I was on the ****, found it on eBay, 4 grand later....the rest is history. Found some bits locally, truck cab rear window...

    Help neede with diesel plumbing

Yep that'll stop it lol, you need an ignition feed to it, use ?white wire to coil if converting a petrol, if converting diesel it's not as easy as ignition feeds are killed when cranking, I put a starter button in to counteract it on mine :)

I did think of that but making it fold down could be a pain in the arse...

    Boat Rover

lol, that ones made of knackered fibreglass from 1965, whatever gets thrown on it probably won't last more than 2yrs :D

Home made roof rack without welding.

Should have just used black enamel conduit :D I like that, might even give it a go one day myself, being a sparky and having a few km's of 20mm conduit and a bender kicking about

    Boat Rover

I've got a canal boat that slowly I'm trying to do up, whoever did it last time cut so many corners it's unbelievable, so I'm trying to redo it and taking years...see pic A minor setback was the folding down roof thing blew off in Nov '10 and it's not been right since. It's bodged back...

    VIC check

Thanks for the advice, I'll give them a call once I've found a suitable driver, so you reckon I should be OK with the rusty sills and boot floor? I'll give it a bit of a clean if it helps any as well :D

    VIC check

Has anyone done one of these before? Need to do the Disco (Cat C) before I stick the RRC body on it (will work out far easier paperwork wise). As far as I can see, I can put it in as is - accident damage has been repaired etc, it's just not MOT worthy as the sills and boot floor are...

    Help neede with diesel plumbing

Are you taking the injector spill pipe back to the injector pump then from injector pump to tank, or trying to put it straight back into the filter/tank? Mine had a hole in the spill pipe between injectors and injector pump, caused really rough running and non starting (assume it was sucking...

    Oil filter wont budge

Another vote for screwdriver and hammer, if it's really tight use a thick screwdriver, I've got a 1000v insulated one that does the job nicely :) If that fails, stilsons/molegrips on the remains

    Which steering lock?

Where's this thread? I've had a little look but can't find it...

    A friend indeed!

Apparently you need EP90 GL4, and not the standard GL5, due to bronze bits in the gearbox. Much debate about whether it makes a difference but I got a 20L drum of Smith and Allan Ep90 GL4 for a decent price on eBay! Axles take the same oil, so does the transfer box and overdrive if fitted

Whoops, score one for being a dumbass.

This ford is just down the road from me, usually not too bad but I've had it over the top of the bonnet catching the tail end of a bow wave... This video was uploaded on Sunday! And here's an even better view of it back in 2007! None of us are invincible - go careful!

    RRC LT77 Clutch problems

After a day of overheating fun on the motorway today, eventually got home and parked it up. Tried to go out in it earlier and struggled... Handbrake hasn't worked, so I've been parking in gear. Put it in neutral and spun it over, tried to put it in gear and it didn't go. It's been stiff as...

You still got the lift kit? Haven't got anything to send you back to put on it so dunno if you'd sell it to me...

Help please to identify exhaust part for replacement

It'd be far easier to just modify a 2.25 downpipe, the only difference is the studs are spaced slightly further out, so you need to cut slots where the holes in the plate on the downpipe are. 10 mins with a hacksaw and you'd be sorted
