I've had many Landy's over the years, mainly 90's and RRC's. I've currently got a RRC with a sweet engine, manual gearbox and diffs, but it's bloody rusty!

For the next MOT I know it's gonna need rear cross-member and body-mounts, both cills and both front and back inner wings.:(

Now, I've been looking about, and been toying with the idea of buying something like an unfinished project Series and transplanting my good components into that.

Thoughts/suggestions/advice/****-taking?

buy a project 90/110 its going to cost about same to build , and will be a better(more suitable to V8) JMHO

Do the work , classics are getting rare and need saving .

It's true, I've now started to do the "ooo, when did you last see one of them?" when I see a nice RRC coming down the road.
An original un-fooked about Classic is a lovely thing, there's a bloke in a recent LRO with a mint K-plate Tdi, 30k miles totally original, it's lush.
But if it's not in your mind to restore it, you'll turn it into something else or sell it on, some one else will Bob-tail it and go and smash it up off road.
Another one bits the dust.:(
