About 2 minutes before the first picture was taken I realised I really should have spent more time checking my snorkel for leeks.

Without wishing to be a party pooper, remember peeps have died in the last couple of days.

We have local ford that can rise 2feet in 5 minutes! :(

If yu aren't familiar with the ford, don't risk it , a lot have hidden deep spots and "holes"!

And never go out on your own

Pssssst.
Why would yu want to grow Welsh vegetables in your snorkle. It will restrict the airflow!;)

We knew how deep it was, my mate had just driven through it in his Defender but his snorkel worked.
We had three trucks and about 10 people all together I think.

Photo's have some weird effect on them that everyone I know seems to be using. Instgram or something.

I wasnt suggesting yu didnt, you have been around long enuf to not be stoopid, but there are plenty of noo peeps that wont be so aware of the dangers and consequences.

Well I'll take the glow plugs out at the weekend and see if it turns over. But either way it isn't likely to see the road again anyway.
Funny night though, just a shame it was only the second ford.

Just as an update, cleared the water out the bores and the old girl fired straight up!!!
Few new electrical issues but engine runs fine with no head gasket or an issues. :D
Even took it out for a days laning today, but thats it now as the MOT is up so I'll be breaking it.

Little video showing the few drops it had injested ;)

jesus!

I know, was not expecting that! Shot the water across the road and into the bushes!!
Also took the cooler pipes off and it chucked a bit more out of there. So surprised when it fired up, engine feels fine, still pulls just as well as it did.

You're better off turning the engine by hand the first couple of turns. As you can see there is still a lot of pressure in the cylinders even with the plugs removed.
