    Sounds like the dsp amp to me. its burried behind the sub woofer. Can be prone to failure and are not usually repairable as the amplifier chips are encassed in goo on the board. Replacement is usually the answer.

    Your right, those readings Are low. Not sure about the hawkeye, I've only ever used a faultmate but the Motronic ecu will adapt quickly to the new MAF readings.

    If the drives failed it wont register on on the screen. Have a look behind the panel and see what youve got. If youve got the MK3 CD unit, you will want to upgrade that to the later MK4 unit identified by DVD on the front.
