Wondering if anyone knows of a way of converting the old analogue part of the tv system in the earlier non touch screen versions to digital? :)

I've been looking too and it's not cheap. Think ill stick to the iPad as the limited time we would watch TV I might as well switch Sky Go on.

Yeah, I looked into it and looks to be a few hundered quid! Not really worth for that money although did see an option to add reversing camera to that expensive system for not much more but think I will sustain for now.

Hello There's a bloke in Birmingham just did mine really good price and a proper professional job. We had tv tuner, Reverse camera and "naughty" tv in motion.
He's got adverts on eBay, gumtree and really good reviews on yell he's an honest friendly guy and I'm well chuffed freeview and a few digi radio stations he also added Bluetooth as it didn't have any phone kit at all.
Hope that helps if you still need it
Regards

Hi mate there's nothing really to see just got a remote eye by the interior mirror that's nearly invisible and there's a new box in the left hand cubby hole in the boot I can't see any wires or anything it just looks the same as it did in the first place
Sorry
There might be some pictures on his website it's www.handzfree.co.uk
I used him because of his reviews on yell. I made the right choice had no problems at all everything is perfect
I'm going to use him soon for Bluetooth and iphone input he quoted me before just had to save up as I've had to service the car and buy a couple of new tyres.

I tried one before. His price for the three items was less than the price of the BMW tuner and I had 3 times more tv plus Basic DAB and USB. It's a no brainer! It's much more economical to go for the aftermarket and it functions a hundred times better.

try carphonics he will convert your original box to digital for £240 this needs to be used with a remote eye but as a further integration for £340 he can convert your box to digital and integrate it so it works off steering wheel buttons and front screen navigation buttons.

he also does some great bm54 mods including enabling aux input on your original bm54 radio.
