I removed the ABS unit’s shuttle valve switch to fix a botched Option B mod from the previous owner and found cracked wire insulation. The ground connection for the Option B was held on by a single wire strand due to corrosion.

I removed the heavier aluminum Secondary Air Injection (SAI) tubing and replaced it with 19mm (3/4") red silicone tubing and a "T" fitting. Adding this will make it sooooooooo much easier to remove and install if need be for V8 engine maintenance.
I haven't properly tested out the SAI pump and tubing yet. I will look into jumping the relay to turn the pump on and check for air leaks.

*EDIT*

I jumped relay R6 (diesel glow plugs relay) to activate the SAI pump. All works good except for the expected extreme heat under the bonnet making the hose very rubbery & pliable.

Why have you left the alpine windows in get them out before you paint it. ;)
New rubber are fitted and I made sure the paint work was A1 before fitting the alpine lights, but point noted :)
So may take them back out again before painting at the weekend,
It’s like opening pandora box the more I did the more needed doing, and you are right it’s not worth ruining a boat for a half penny of tar,
