Swore at it... Tried to start the Disco this evening, and it just span over on the starter, quite fast. Took about 5 seconds to fire up. Felt like a fuel issue. So Ive bought a new air bleed valve off the Bay, to see if thats the issue. Im coming to the thought that my whole low power under 2000 revs is a fuel starvation problem.

Ordered a fuel non-return valve to replace same time as the air bleed. Will pick up a fuel filter as well, just for peace of mind.

Replaced all flexible brake pipes plus changed the metal brake pipes over to copper/ nickel,
Unable to undo most of them so used a grinder with cutting disc, easiest option,
Now have pipes that will pass MOT muster,:)

Driven the D3 140 mile to Yorkshire 2.4 children minus dog and packed to the rafters

Never missed a beat got 35 mpg out of it really smooth, the Mrs driven it for circa 80 mile and was super impressed

Let my lad borrow my Disco.... You can bet it comes back with much less diesel than it went out with....

Fuel tester arrived this morning...

Finally got the V8 back together and she is purring like a kitten.
Now... onto sorting out other issues since my MOT is overdue.

Cained the arse out of my Disco at 3am to a job. Lots of power, intermittent stutters in power on full throttle.... Thought my Nanocom would have picked up a few over boost or TPS faults, but nothing.... Strange.

I might get slated but heavy duty britpart shocks n springs but its a vast improvement to the 22 year old standard ones I replaced..hopefully get my new tyres on later...pics to follow
