yes, but the voltage drops as the current increases. voltage needs to be stable while connecting to the OBDWell approx 21 hours on an 850Ah battery to be completely depleted at 40Ah load. It would probably die before that.

Indeed, hence the 'it would probably die before that' comment. DC has that unfortunate flip flop of current / voltage (stupid ohm and his laws )yes, but the voltage drops as the current increases. voltage needs to be stable while connecting to the OBD
think its an 850AH, dont think much bigger will fit? maybe 900AH?
SDD wont work properly if the volts drops below 12.5
the battery was fitted before the sale date so it will be the nastiest lump of lead availableI fitted a 950 Bosch, but the famous MF will fit, would need some knudling to fit a strap though.
Does your battery have a land rover sticker on it?
Our IID knew which number our new 1 should be (3).
Apparently LR did a recall and changed the battery (underpowered?) so our 2011 was on its second battery when we got it.

i'm talking rubbish.. the 850 is CCA not AH dunno what the AH is but likely 95AHyes, but the voltage drops as the current increases. voltage needs to be stable while connecting to the OBD
In that case, not long at alli'm talking rubbish.. the 850 is CCA not AH dunno what the AH is but likely 95AH

In that case, not long at all
Are you sure it has a 40A load, it seems quite high?
no, i'm not sure but thought i'd read it somewhere.. easy enough to measure thoughIn that case, not long at all

probbaly something to do with the time measurement.. sometimes its 10h, 20h or even 15hThe LR 850 was 90AH
the bosch 950 is 105AH
They also have changed something and now they show an (EN) next to what would have been the CCA, believe its a similar but different number.

It wouldn't get anywhere near 21 hoursWell approx 21 hours on an 850Ah battery to be completely depleted at 40Ah load. It would probably die before that.
I know that on some versions of the L322 the MF31-1000 will just squeeze in, it's 120ahthink its an 850AH, dont think much bigger will fit? maybe 900AH?

Exactly, hence the latter part of my commentIt wouldn't get anywhere near 21 hours
i'm very tempted to take the battery out and measure it.. measure the orifice.. and do a proper charge on itI know that on some versions of the L322 the MF31-1000 will just squeeze in, it's 120ah
Always worth testing so you know where you are.i'm very tempted to take the battery out and measure it.. measure the orifice.. and do a proper charge on it

Physically bigger than the MF but lower Ah and CCA.The battery I fitted needed a re jig of the mega fuse (lhd) I did measure it but can’t find size. But pretty sure it was bigger than the MF. Was a dam sight bigger than the 1 in it.
