right, after rewiring me trailer and replacing the back lights on me 90, i got a bit done this afternoon ,

had to get the sleves out fer the cam followers

as i wernt happy with them ( after all this) ah well ther done now, i had to make a puller for it out of a bolt ! easy really ( cheaper than a slide hammer too)

then i put all the timimg gears back on and set up the timing , sorry no photos of the process !

looks more like an engine again now

dropped in the oil pump gears and bits fer the dizzy

got fuel pump and oil filler tube ready fer fitting , along with timimg case, more pics to come tomorrow,

so , today i got the timimg case on, glued gaskit on one side and grease on the engine side incase it ever has to come off ,

with valve no 8 fully open i set valve no1 to 0.010 with the feelers then locked the adjuster, then followed on in this order

valve 8- adjust no1
valve 6-3
valve 4-5
valve 7-2
valve 1-8
valve 3-6
valve 5-5
valve 2-7

easy as that !

dropped a few more bits on,

looks fantastic, just a suggestion but would the dizzy not look better with a coat of paint on it.:)

yeah , am un decided if the dizzy is buggered or not , so need to make a test circuit up tomorrow then will decide weather to keep it or swap it over, then will spray it ;)

ah could do it tomorrow, :) after a mornings finishing off , but want to get the new chassis / old chassis restored before it gets dropped in , will prob fire it up in a stand so i can get it running smooth, in the next couple of weeks, no rush , got a few bits to sort out , starter motor, bell housing , timimg , fuel pump, pullys belts etc, oil filter, nothing major, just bits

will keep boring you all with the pics, got the rest to do now, think il do the quick gear box overhall, then the bulkhead restoration ( rotted to ****) but am going to repair it all ! slowly but surely.
