So...gotta love the series 3 esp when it throws an issue at you. My most recent is starting. When it does start it's great, loads of power etc. But recently after driving it it sometimes (once every two weeks) turns over really slowly like its got a flat Bty. I even put the headlights on when trying to start and they only dim slightly. After about 5 attempts of starting (think flat bty and turning over really slowly) it suddenly spins super fast as normal and starts up!

Checked the earth straps, serviced the starter motor (Lucas) last year with new bushes etc and checked the solenoid ensuring all the cable were tight. Can't see what I'm missing (and it's been starting great all afternoon).

Any pointers greatly accepted of its a case of pulling all the electric parts off (Bay, Starter etc) and starting fresh.

Thank you

P.S. I will mention that the Bty is quite old (2010) so that could also be a mitigating factor?
