could they neighbors/council complain about it being blight then? Surely there has to be a zoning , PP law with you guys about it

Not trying to burst someone bubble. But would be worth checking out. Not like if you did that with a garden shed, which would be ok

nothing to do with anyone else at all.it will be on HER private driveway.

feck all to do with you what she does with it.ffs.

I could care less either way........ But what I see coming is kids being excited about having a cool club house. It would be a shame if they were told to get rid of it. But if it was licensed and kept road worthy they could at least tell the officials to bugger off.

My understanding is that a caravan on your drive & behind my building line is absolutely fine. There must be 30 or so on our estate. As long as nobody "lives" in it its fine.

Wont keep it roadworthy as it won't be going anywhere.

well stop questioning her then, plus it does not have to be licensed, just roadworty,IF it will be used on the road.

Well got the towing bit sorted ...thanks to funkykipper :)

So am very excited now.:D

So can you paint the outside of caravans ? What kind of paint do you use ?

Pretty much any exterior paint you can lay yer hands on will do the job

I wouldnt of thought it would be too much of a prob just removing them all as not like going to be towed anywhere so does not need too much structural strength.

Me and Pikey stripped out Rattys old waggon a couple of months ago and once clear on the inside you wouldn't wanna lean against a wall

Gems this is what could be a issue............ a rather gray area, that could cause problems.

Note: The Clean Neighbourhoods and
Environment Act 2005 has amended
legislation relating to disposal of vehicles
that do not display a current licence
or registration mark, enabling them
to be destroyed immediately after
removal

From what I have seen ( search is a wonderful too) if they are licensed and taxed they can, and if not they must go. Just hate to see your bubble burst. Would be worth a check to see if ok, Is all I am saying, not trying to start anything with You Sam..:tea:

Nothing said about motorized, you added that. Said vehicle, and caravans are classed as vehicles I do believe
caravan (ˈkӕrəvӕn) noun
1. a vehicle on wheels for living in, now pulled by car etc, formerly by horse. a holiday caravan; a gypsy caravan.

But oh well

Well I looked at the laws on caravans when I was wanting to buy some land and live in one while I did the house up.

You need planning permission to live in one, but you are allowed to use them as an extra bedroom as long as those sleeping in them actually live in the house.

you really are a condescending arse aren't you,a yank trying to tell an Englishman about speaking English.in this country, only motorized vehicles are required to be taxed etc.so anything without can be done with as you like,ie kept on your drive for any purpose you want.:rolleyes:
