Thanks BGB! :)

Now I gotta arrange for my daughter (who's 26 and single) to meet up with Vagrent and collect them for me.
Not sure whether that's a good idea.

Tell his wife she is on her way , can you trust a Vargent????? Has he seen you shoot yet? :D:D:D

Thanks to Boomer for turning up at 10pm with the vital brake tubing, that allowed me to make it on the trip. and for proving that even though peeps on here may fall out, spit dummies and have wild tantrums. When the SHTF all is forgiven or forgotten and they pitch in to help get the landy back on the road asap.

How true!
At the end of the day being a Landy enthusiast makes us part of an extended family and when the chips are down family comes first.
From my perspective our very public differences of the past are now well and truly 'ancient history' - the bond of mutual trust and respect is now being built and will hopefully prove unshakeable in the future, so much water has now flowed under the bridge we'll be getting blamed for the drought next! :D

pikey and boomer sitting in a tree...............

........with a 12 bore gun and it's aimed at thee :p:D

Home at last :D

Me Landy fell to pieces on the way there and on the way back  But got me round the plains, to a campsite and up to Newbury to share a few doughnuts, Cheers HB :p and thanks to JM for finding the cheapest cider on the planet for the evenings entertainment......much appreciated :5bcheers2:

S71 yer a useless **** but somehow you managed to get a bunch of equally useless ****s to pull off something pretty special.....good on yer mate.......(ta fer tother door anorl)

Sorry to have to keep my group waiting at the start and thanks for not giving me a hard time for it.......a nicer bunch of folk I couldn't hope to meet :D

And finally a massive hug for my lad who not only put up with his foul tempered old man as I desperately bodged me Landy back together there and back but did a sterling job of preventing us from getting lost........Dead proud of you my son :lvhug-035:

OH and sorry to put a spoiler on things BUT!! Where the FOOK did my lemon drizzle cake goto??? Some fooker musta stole it Cos I never got a crumb of it

yu n me both.:(

I did see a fat chillypepper in a white 110, hiding a large tub full of cake behind his front seats?????? :fighting2:

I was forced into taking the cake. When I refused 110woman tried to beat me with her wheel brace.......... honest:eek::D:D:D

:praise: A massive thanks to Ratty for cable tying my high/low selector into high range so I could get off the Plains and home today. Would have been a huge pain in the arse driving 160 miles holding the slector lever in place.

This was my first proper outing in the tdi and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed driving a manual for a change. BUT there were so many V8's out on Saturday I was seriously missing Gloria and her V8 soundtrack. If I don't sell her perhaps she'll be at the next one :D

A great big thanks to Pikey and Minty for leading our group. What a great day out and it was great to see a load of old and new faces.

Made it to Newbury today and picked up some more goodies for finishing off the tdi.

Great weekend all in all except for some ****e feeling the urge to write "HELLO C*NT" in the mud on my bonnet last night in Salisbury.

Glad you got home ok. :)

Sounds like they thought your landy belonged to pikey or S71.;):D:D:D

had a fab day yesterday thanks to Series. Was lovely to meet everyone. cant wait till the next time. shame hubby moaning like a biatch about his precious baby thats all muddy. thanks again everyone:):)

Couldn't help but notice you seemed far keener than he to get diving into the dirty stuff, lol! :)

As for me, being my first ever experience of off-roading, I learned a huge amount about just how capable even a P38 is, and I've definitely been bitten by the bug!! I've even been looking at ads for Discos and 'Fenders... Not that I have the cash to buy one right now!!!
