Hey manThanks for the comment over on my fred, I've been lurking here a bit too, cracking work - learning to weld is on my list of things to do, the D2 is starting to go in the usual places...
Are you against the abs idea? Your thinking too much. Grab a few cones, chop em, heat em, bolt em in. I hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow. Working from home and hoping to get few evening bits done. Got a boot support to weld then it’s on to rear quarter
The only thing I am 100% against is fat porn, it's disgusting

I bet she has to pay a landscape gardener to get in there to slash an burn that bush once a month
Road cones you say?
I think you could be on to something there but I don't (as yet) have a ready supply of them, to experiment, but you never know what can happen in a short space of time
You've posted in the wrong forum @dieseldog69...
OK Arm twisting over an done with, I ordered one to try, hope it inspires me to get the other side welded up now so I can get the arches flared for the MOT If they turn out half as good as I am imagining it will be a minor miracle lolzDon't forget the extra metal bit that covers/protects the disk.
That looks good for £30+. Saves you time & welding. may need a bit of heat to stretch the skin.
Problem with that is the outer skin contacts the inner wheel arches and/or the front inner plastic arch liners. If you roll the arches, you might end up with a gap.... unless you make new liners .OK Arm twisting over an done with, I ordered one to try, hope it inspires me to get the other side welded up now so I can get the arches flared for the MOT If they turn out half as good as I am imagining it will be a minor miracle lolz

I bet she’d really appreciate it.
You would need new liners yes. The arch roller works but there’s a nack to it. It’s popular amongst the drift lot.
Will be interesting to see how that goes.....I don't yet have arch liners, the flippin flaps don't yet meet the inside of the rear quarter panel, I have an idea but it involves drilling holes and I'm keen not to do that, I don't have arch liners on the front and have never had them either, not sure they'd last under there now either.
Heat gun to the ready and gonna roll the sh1t out of them for hours and hours and hours and hours until they stretch over the tyres front and rear
Will be interesting to see how that goes.....
Or if yu feck up one of yours
