Yeah. I hope that those who made it back get there rads cleaned before it sets like concrete.

I gotta take my front end apart anyway to do my oil cooler leak and flush my intercooler... Just as well, as I think dismantling is the only way that mud is coming out of that 3-deep rad sandwich...

Time to invent a portable pressure washer methinks :)

So what is the definitive rad cleaning approach? Options I've heard or read here:
1. Compressed air once dried (which it will be given where it is :D )
2. Presure wash the fook out of it
3. Soft brush and hose (presumably to avoid damaging the fins)

Experience of these options anyone?

Don't pressure wash it unless on a low setting. A pressure washer tends to blow all the fins out ( or flatten them so no air gets through). It's a case of lots of water and a wash and a war of attrition:(.

I pulled in at a service station to pressure wash the rad and intercooler. i did the whole engine bay in the end so at least thats one thing less to do tomorrow.

I passed a bright orange 90 and another 90 in a layby just past Stonehenge(Think it was JP???) Sorry i didnt stop, id just gone round a truck and didnt have time to see if you guys needed a hand. hope all was ok.

How does one contact LZ Rescue? Might be a silly question but many obviously didn't know how to and I know Disco147 could have done with it. He called me asking for WLM's number but I didn't have it and was in no position to help out as I was limping myself.
