Will add pics tomorrow!

But Superpro bushes fitted into the radius arms and built up the A Frame.

Not such a bad job with a big vice and a couple sockets. Think I had them all fitted in about an hour.

Didnt bother with doing the radius arm/axle bushes as they come with LR bushes from Gywn anyway, shall keep them for when they eventually fail.

All ready to swap out over xmas.

Must find the panhard rod bushes though bought some a while back. No idea where i put them.. 🤣

Just about ready to be stolen and exported to Africa then....😂

Today was new rear shafts and HD flanges all round! Nice easy job but needed doing.

Lucky too as I found the front drivers side bearing had a fair bit of play, replaced the silly stake nut method for the twin nut and lock tab. Nipped up should be fine for a good while now.

Made a HUGE difference to driving, much smoother and the clunking has gone.

30mm wheel spacers Mr Bankz?

Yeah 30mm

Cos a pen and tape dont work in a fancy cutter? I would guess 🤔.

Wots it gonna be (said in the best Rolf Harris voice) come on @bankz5152 finger out and show:):).

J

😅😅😅 just so I can laser cut them from some Ali and make Bi Layer ones like Uproar, ORD and Equipe just for considerably less cost and make them the exact size I want them to be.

Hopefull finish up the cad tomorrow, laser cut a test and finalise.

Just a thought..

The wing top with the snorkel are you still going to cut out where the black grill goes or just a hole for the snorkel elbow to be neatly welded to?

Black grill? The plastic?

Thats gone the snorkel has a 3mm SS plate that uses the original fixing holes but M6 SS setscrews.

Elbow drops down through there and runs 89mm hose direct to the airbox.

First off roading session in the 110 down at Salisbury Plains!

Definitely miss my Koni dampers, stock suspension is so poor, does the job but less soaking up the bumps more being slapped by them 🤣

Ive also bought "rock lights" because who doesnt want a trip back to the naughties with some underglow 😅😅😎

Not overly happy with the spacing or sizing of the ovals, looks a bit off but then again the software can make things look out of parallel when they arnt..

Cut a test piece from some scrap and fit up was bang on! So very happy with that!

Just need to make a few adjustments.

Picked up my D44 bumper from Empire HQ today! Glad to see D44s quality hasnt changed a bit in recent years. Still top notch and reasonably priced given the high quality!

Cut the A bar read for extending and rewelding to mount the spot lights.

This time around im going to weld a little plate on the back of the bumper to take the a A Bar, just a better fixing than when I did it before.

Then all to be sprayedin Raptor with HVLP gun

Bit of a surreal phone call today. Gareth rang me, saying a guy has one of his VNTs and needs it mapped.

Theres only 5 of these VNTs around and he hasnt bought one. Asked where he got it and it turns out my old 110 has made its way to an "end of life" scrap yard.

Doesnt look like much of a car anymore, been picked pretty clean.

Chaps taken the engine, headlights and a couple other bits. Goes to show how hard it is to kill a Land Rover 😅

Guna go have a look after xmas. One last good bye to the car that saved my life.
