Cheers mate quite happy with the results :) Just ****ed of that I can't drive it :(

And insured or not some one will still have it if they want it

Well it was a nice and sunny last weekend so I got the remaining stuff finished of and also painted the inside of the tub.
Just got to finish installing a cd player.

Although I am contemplating selling it :( I just cant see me getting the money together for the insurance any time soon :(
Some one else might as well get some use out of it instead of it just sitting there.
Not 100% decided yet and I wouldn't even know what to ask for the old girl.

It would be such a shame if you sold it and had not driven it with all the effort you have gone too.

cracking job! as rawly said, would be a big shame to sell it after all the hard work you put in!

Looking good mate, would be a right shame if you had to sell it though :(

I agree, shame to sell it after all of the hard work that you have put into it.

Cheers for the positive comments:) As you say if will be a shame not to have driven it:(
But my dilemma is this
(a) I sell It as I cant afford to insure it and loose a bit of money on what its cost me to build.

(b) I keep it sat on the drive for 6months until I can afford the insurance. But I don't like the thought of it sat on the drive for that long uninsured.

Really don't know what to do for the best :(

When I had mine off the road for 3 or 4 years it was insured just for theft somehow (my dad sorted it out for me through the broker he uses).

Could another option be to park it up out of the way and make it not possible to steal, you put it on axle stands remove the wheels and take the battery or something like that.

It may be a stupid idea bit thats what i would be thinking instead of selling.

Can you not sit it somewhere thats harder to access for the 6 months or if it has to be on the drive remove some bits so it can't be easily pinched and a big chain round something, the house maybe.

There you go, strip it over the next 3 months then rebuild it over the following 3 months and then you'll have the monies.
