Well so far no luck, contracted several and non got back to me
The gearbox is ZF but who makes the ECU fitted in the car? Could be special to Landrover/BMW to account for 4WD.Ok, I've been in touch with a garage listed on zf.com.
Told them the symptoms and that so far no error codes.
They want to use 'land rover diagnostics' to read error codes and give me a report.
I thought as a zf specialist they'd be able to do more with zf equipment or is that naive?
Pretty sure zf make the whole lot. Not sure thoughThe gearbox is ZF but who makes the ECU fitted in the car? Could be special to Landrover/BMW to account for 4WD.
Well it's been to the garage and it's got a ton of gearbox error codes, non of which show up in SDD.
The guy strongly recommends a full flush and valve body/mechatronic clean which is going to be the best part of a grand. Failing that it's a re-con box at around £4k plus fitting costs
Do i need to do some drive cycle to complete them? The last clear would have been 100s of miles agoTest not completed doesn't mean a DTC is set - that's just a list of possible tests. They won't show up in SDD as the tests have not completed with a pass/fail outcome.
From the logo it's this..Honestly, I couldn't say - it appears to be an unfiltered list of tests, maybe they have some ZF process that initiates the tests, it's certainly not a screen or list I've seen in SDD, some of the DTC's are contradictory so it wouldn't be a plausible list of co-existing faults.
told.. the low batt would not cause the clutch pack codes and dont know how old they are. but, like has been said, they arent actually error codes, just incomplete tests.. unless thats a quirk of the drivepro autologic.I need to ask how historic this data is.. i have just remembered i had a low battery event last year which lit the dash with every fault known.
Incomplete tests and conflicting DTC's suggest a comms problem to me, but on an L322 I'm just guessing.told.. the low batt would not cause the clutch pack codes and dont know how old they are. but, like has been said, they arent actually error codes, just incomplete tests.. unless thats a quirk of the drivepro autologic.
i'll see if i can figure out how to do a transmission test in SDD
