Yorkshire Dales Laning Weekend 19-21 July

OK so where are we meeting and what time. Still Shipley and then drive up to meet Paul
 
I will be setting off from home as soon as kids wake up lol
Sue i sent you my number so if you drop me a txt i can ring you when near the start point :)
Should be a GOOD day with all this rain we have had.

nipped out to workshop for some recovery gear just in case..
thought "ill just change the trailing arm bushes to see if it cures the wandering problem ive got" (they were a bit paggered)
"while i'm at it, i'll do the front nearside abs sensor, to get rid of the light and stop it rattling the brakes every so oft"
all back together, gives the front nearside wheel a swing, and theres the clunk clunk as summat moves.....
one wheel bearing nipped, and a shim removed from the kingpin........

should really have started before 9pm.....

on the plus side, got the ropes, seem to low on shackles, and forgot the spade...

Well that was a hell of a day, just got in at Midnight.

Had a great time and we have some great routes. Thanks to everyone who came out today and for helping me do the difficult routes.

I drove up the rock steps on Cam Road, pulled Olly out of something or other he was stuck in, went wading in quite deep water and didn't get stuck in some mud when I thought I would. Finished the last lanes when it was getting dark and foggy, that was spooky :eek:

Fantastic :D:D:D:D Can wait for the laning weekend now.

Very impressed with my landy and the low grip on my tyres got me through the deep mud up the rock step and all the way around the lanes :p
Really loved it when it was getting dark and foggy and very slippy

Yep, you were great, you will have to get a CB though, you were being blamed for the chip oil for the first half of the trip :p:p:p
