OK :jaw:

I have the map, I can always wait at the other end :D:D

The Doc can follow me :D
you'll be fine, no better way to learn than doing with those that can help.

an drivel's machine, with the lack of articulation ability and the weight of a small tilcon wagon, will make a perfect ground anchor :p

Bring him along, he can sleep in the bunk barn with us, there is a spare bed. Sandra, Lou and I will look after him. Give Sandra some practice, she is a Granny now

You can rough it with the rest of them in a tent or the Disco :p:p

:boink:
when did my name get put on the first page?

When you said you might come :p

It says "those who are thinking about coming" you said you were thinking about it.

Those who are probably coming have put their names on the spreadsheet, you haven't :D:D:D

Which reminds me I have one to delete

So how are we going to split routes. We don't have any Freelanders :p so perhaps we only need two types of group, normal for those who don't want to wreck vehicles and harder for those who want a challenge.

Anyone want to split these down further?

Can't split routes till they've been driven and assessed ...

I get an idea of what they might be like from contours and other references, eg, tracks through Peat Marshes are likely to be boggy, woodland is often muddy or dusty, etc, but there's no definite answer till you've seen them in real life .. ground conditions determine what's what really .. ;)

hmm, what counts as a challenge.

I don't want no boring grass lanes, I like a bit of a challenge, but don't wanna wreck the motor either (scratches n small dents don't count)

There are few lanes in the Dales that are boring and conversely there are only a few I know of that will easily wreck a car. Of course, that depends on how much of a numpty someone drives .. and two lanes that easily wreck a car are already TRO'd so won't be driven. Most of them could be challenging in different conditions, I've driven them in wet and dry and none stopped me in a standard Disco on AT tyres ... A standard Defender will have no issues with any of them, again, providing numptiness is kept minimal .. :)

sounds good :tea: I don't do numpty driving, these are public roads afterall :)

got Fender, got AT tyres, fairly standard but with under protection.

Looking forward to it :)
