Ok, I've got the new air springs (call them black puddings here in frog land) and am planning to replace them next week.
Before anyone says read the threads on here and elsewhere I have! But I have a couple of silly questions! Because the only flat area I have has limited access to one side can I :-
A, do one side at a time and then spin the old girl round and do the other side?
And
B, can I de-pressurise at the spring end and not at the compressor?
Cheers J

On a P38, it's always best to do one side at a time, I see no reason why you should not do the same. You can de pressurise at the bag but wear gloves and goggles, take the weight off the bag by raising the chassis first. My airbag replacement guide in the Range Rover section may help.

disconnect the battery first then you can do one side at a time... put axle stand or jack as to keep the body to not compress the bag and undo the pipe from it without fear... if they are old or leaking just stab them with a sharp knife

They are 13 yrs old! Bought the old girl off my sister who bought her new in Jan2002 and has not had new bags fitted but had a new compressor fitted last year? Perhaps she was mis-informed!
Was planning to stick it on axle stand, slowly disconnecting olive at bag, then removing that cos the replacements are push fits!
Then put jack under diff and raise to "fool" SLABS that it's riding low! Put new bag on, run engine for 15 secs or so then put wheel back on and run engine till normal ride height is achieved?
