Already done/got the heated seats & screen but I did come up with what I think may increase the heat/flow from the blower pretty cheaply.

The big ole plastic tub thing that sits below the heater intake in the wing is pretty poorly sealed against the fan intake and often gets full of ****, plus its quite restrictive. My idea is to remove this and run a piece of ducting from the fan intake to the intake on the wing, couple with a snowcowl. Quite tests reveal there is more air coming from the vents than before, so should work. Going to seal it all up properly on the weekend.

I fitted a bilge blower on the inlet amd it really shifts air now. If I sit at 70 with the turbo boosting the heater is amazing now, at 60 the engine doesn't make enough heat and the heater cools slightly but is better than it used to be. I will have a go at part blocking the rad over the winter and see how it does

I just usually press the program button on the hevac panel, heat front screen, heated rear, heated mirrors and it warms the cabin up to , if its really chilly I turn on the heated seats........ Think that's it :p:p:p:p
That's not a true Land Rover then, What's it like fixing all those electronics in the cold, what have you got for that?
Think you can tell I'm just jealous. We have snow forecast for next week here.

Used the program button and the heated seats coming home from truck racing at brands hatch today it was bitterly cold even had the frost warning light on, I had to turn the cabin temp down tho the hi setting was making my ice cream melt faster then I could eat it :p:p:p:p:D:D:D:D

I have enquired about a half cover today - want to keep the ice off the screen etc but need one to accommodate the snorkel....see what they come back with

I popped the bonnet of my Santa Fe today (the engine is still there) and topped up with screen wash. Job done, see you in march ;)

Nothing required you don't expect to do mods do you, but my old 3.5 RR had a perthetic heater so I had to cover the grill with cardboard in the winter months for the 10 years I had it, not what you would expect for £24 grand vehicle at the time.

There was something seriously wrong with your car , if there is one thing V8 engined landrovers do not suffer from its a lack of heat , even a 110 station wagon or stage 1 station wagon could be made like a sauna inside
in the coldest winter .

Don't think anything was seriously wrong, just in the winter the heater was at its hottest when air was restricted entering the rad with a bit of cardboard leave that off and it was cool.
The vehicle was main dealer serviced twice a year from day one and they couldn't find any reason why the heater was only warm and very much on the cool side of hot... RR heater design back in those days maybe.

The disco's heater is so much different being air blending, I have to turn down the heat after a couple of miles just the same as it's always been every winter for the last 19 years.
