I have had the windscreen replaced by Autoglass today. A super service and a great job. There is lots of bits and bobs associated with the removal of the screen and all was done very carefully on competently.

No issues with wiring the heated elements in the screen. Simply what we should always expect.

Recommended.

I had mine done by them last year, L/H heated screen has gone short circuit, they will be getting phone call just before the warranty runs out.

Autoglass did mine too after I broke the screen trying to do it myself, all seemed to be going well until the last corner and crack. The chap said that he had broke three in the past as they are a tad tricky. At least if he had broke it again he would have had to replace it. Lesson lerned!!!

1987 90 so no heating element to worry about!!!

Wammers.

check your warrantee, mine is covered for as long as I keep the car. Autoglass went into receivers around 6mths ago and is now a 'new business?' if you can get it replaced, push for this new warrantee??

best wishes
