Current limiting, non resettable, switch ----------- Fuse.
spending most of his budget on unnecessary electronics probably wasnt part of the plan
err, no!The way I'm reading the setup he wants is to have the car's main battery remain isolated except when he goes to charge. For the winch he wants two separate batteries for the power of the winch. Am I understanding that correctly?.
yer should stick to drivin yer golfSounds great. I missed the line about the independence from the vehicle's charging system.
As for the winch plate I can only offer eBay as a source. Or perhaps fabricating one yourself. Good luck on it.
yer should stick to drivin yer golf

nah its fer edjercated septics.. it has 4 whole letters in its name.Int a golf for poor septics what can't afford proper cars
If you guys would take the time to read my Introduction post you would see that the golf isn't my only car. If you would like to get a brief intro to my car history please just ask. However since this thread is about a winch and how to install it in a landy perhaps we should stick to that topic. What do you guys think??
