Mr Slob Sir! a quick wun
ya stuck in mud, sand, what eva, and ya got a winch, but yer nearest tree, pole, rock, is a ferkin thousand miles away. wot da ya do? ya tried ta dig yerself out, but no ferkin way can ya move the damned thing and yer clients want their gin & t...

rule 1.. dint go out alone so yer should have another vehicle to help yer.

many times i've got out of mud just by going forward and back till it works itself out.. done it in a 2wd auto car in oz
i was even sat in the passenger seat while the driver was out taking pictures. just moved g/stick into drive till it stopped moving then into R till it stopped and so on .. was free inabout 10 mins.

also done the same thing in a series lr on salisbury plain. that was up to its axles in mud but just driving forward and back soon freed it.

but i don't doubt you have some mind numbing solution

sand ladders are crap...too heavy...u bury yer spare wheel upright with yer winch cable attached around the bottom of the wheel

ah fooking tell yer!! ah read yer posts and i despair. no kidding you got me seriously worried about the future of mankind. or have you done the sensible thing and had yerself neutered

i get this answer....thas fightin talk.....remember....be pleasant in yer repremands......gain respect...old fart

cant always go out with backup landy....u lot do yer offroadin 4 fun...i do it fer a living.
don't think i'd describe driving off road in the army fun.. not wiff RPG's coming at yer.

and the fact yer do it for a living dunt mean yer better than others or even that yer any good at all.

the world ha a lot folk that are crap at their chosen profession and you may or may not be one.

i would never consider meself better than others...hell, i been doin it since i wuz 9...an im now 32 days short o 50, and still learn new stuff every day, but one thing i learnt early wus to never critisize anyone. it jus dont work out rite in the end.
