oh my god. hope my husband didn't see this, it's the sort of monstrosity he would buy, 'as a project' never fix and i'd end up scrapping down the line....
i operate a strict old car goes then you get new car policy now or i'd end up living in a scrap yard.
he was considering buying a 200 as spares for our cars..... i guess there's not much left on that particular specimen to use as spares tho luckily!
do you think he woke up one morning, realised what he'd done and decided to shift it quick, the jet skiing story as a cover for his idiocy?
i'd sneak it to the scrap yard under the cover of darkness!lol

AND ?????? What's the problem living in a scrap yard as long as it is only LandRovers?
That's the sort of dirty trick a WOMAN would do.
But in this case I will make an exception, and hold the torch while you hot wire it.

Sure, if they are real old fashioned injectors AND if the owner hasn't mangled them, I can set them up.
I need to know exactly the make and model they are to go back in to, as they all have different settings.

it wasn't landys tho, thats the problem! we had in no particular order, a chevy camaro that hadn't run for 4 years and so had basically rusted away to crap.(i let him move it from mansfield to poole with us, but he still didn't fix it)..couldn't even open the bonnet at the end, so wiring up it's new engine would have proved difficult....., a vauxhall vectra gsi the gear box failed, bought replacement but only half fitted it, and a scrap e class merc that wanted £3000+ of work for it's mot. not including the ford galaxy and fiesta that we were actually driving at the time
when the galaxy packed in i let him keep it (and moved it with us when we move, but only locally this time) for just over a year before i flogged it on ebay.
now we've got disco each, but he needs a garage if we're getting any more 'projects', (i have been looking locally, but won't tell him til we've got keys, and it will be for landy's only....)

How is no hi-lift jack a bad point? It's not like it came with one as standard.
