Ok its sorted now, but what a pain in the ass it is to do, had to take the air bag out as well for better access undone it, went to pull it out, and the wire was about 10 inch long the replacement unit (with the plug on it too) i had was only 4 inch long, so i had to slice and join it all up without taking the plug out from the original unit, just undoing the glove box just didn't do it for me, i couldn't reach in to it to gain the assess i needed, i was going to take picks and do a tutorial but to be honest the job was a nightmare to do so i had enough on my plate already without doing the tutorial, so sorry for that, did a test run and it seems to be working fine now, the book has gone out anyway, as i was driving along the bloody book came up again (nearly drove me crazy when i saw that come up again) but i re started the car and it went off again, the cost of the unit (island 4X4) was £40 (new unit) i gave my m8 for his help £20 + 6 eggs from my chickens 5 PP3 battery's a LED head light a LED strip light (has about 30 LEDs in it) and a fry up, took about 3 hours to do, not a job i would recommend anyway
