could be a late registration ex demonstrator ,as far as i was led to believe you couldn't retrofit a less efficient older model engine into any vehicle legally ,you can only upgrade to later model spec.
could be wrong tho.

What's the mileage of your Disco 1?
There's a seperate poll for the other Disco models.
1.632km = 1 mile. So divide km's by 1.632 to get miles.
1 mile = 1.609344 kilometres, so you're off by about 3% in your formula.
My Disco1 has 142000 miles, but my neighbour's has 320000 miles. He's on his 2nd engine though.
