On trying to undo the door hinge bolts to gain access I felt the depressing feeling of captive nuts liberating themselves. I'll have to wait until I get some more and then have a go at drilling the heads off the old screws.
got mine to articulate on a pair of car ramps. didn't get it all the way but my work colleague was impressed. one thing that confused me was that although both ramps were touching the ramps on the floor when the front wheel was at the top of the ramp the rear wasn't. any particular reason for this? neither ramp moved so surely they should have been at the top at the same time?
I spent most of last Friday drilling work-hardening stainless steel screws out of my friend's patio doors last Friday. He's got a folding set down each side of his extension. I blunted and overheated nearly all my drills on that so there may need to be some grinding and tempering before I get busy on the Land Rover again.Nearly broke me the other day when this happened while changing my hinges.....be strong!! ha

Did you look into pop door kits? These are usually used on modified cars when they want to remove the external locks and handles.Made a start on fitting central locking. Got the back door working so hopefully that's the difficult part out of the way. Just drilled a hole in the interior lever and fitted a stiff rod to that, and the whole lot is hidden by the mud door trim. It's a bit stiff to operate manually now but that shouldn't be needed once it's up and working. Should be able to link it t up to the alarm system if I can figure which wire does what
