Removed spare wheel and carrier from rear door, was suprissed how heavy it was, no wonder the doors drop!

Also wired up 2002 TD5 dash to my 300tdi wiring, not fun but glad its all working now.

Hi Chunky,

Got a couple of carling switches, magnetic tool tray and a large bag of wine gums!

Not as good as last year but still worth a visit.

There's money doing that. Buy in bulk on eBay and sell on stalls.;)

Last year there was a guy selling good rock sliders for £75 was gonna get but skint.

Put the battery back on and scraped the ice off the inside of the landie, including ignition. Who's bright idea was it to shove the battery under the seat? Door has to be open while you take it out so Snowy and Frosty creep in.
Lined battery compartment and still confused as to what the big lump of metal is for (about 12" long, flat with a 4" wide hollow tube sticking up from it. Must be for something)
Went out for a ride thinking great, lots of snow on the roads only to find the only place with ice and snow is our road....buggar! Even the farm tracks are practically clear.

Its not the foot for the original jack is it? sounds about the right size and description.

Thanks - what are they?

Tailgaters all get their comeuppance eventually ;). I was being tailgated at 60mph by a BMW (surprise surprise) the other day and he couldnt have been more than two feet off my back end. I thought if i slam on the brakes hes getting a rear step then a solid girder through his bonnet, bloody idiot.

Ain't got a clue, they have been there for years. I have a high lift behind the seats and a trolley jack in the garage.

The first one is the foot for the original jack, and the second looks like a wheel chock...... as the other bloke said :D Not got the original jack with it? I want a hi-lift :)
