Todays, Well todays and yesterdays progress:

Finished the front back plates stub axles hubs and brakes. Run new brake hoses and made up new copper pipes on the swivels. All together bar split pin and hub caps. (Gotta have noo hub caps) At this point i wanted to get some wheels and tyres mounted and spent a good half an hour with pry bars and all sorts but managed to mount 2 diamonds on some Rostyle rims.

Nowhere near ready But we're making progress!!

I'm normally the one moaning about bling over function well the rostyle is my olny bling (Really I should have an open centred wheel for ease of removing shafts and the like but there is something about rostyles and trials motors that means I had to fit them. When I get another pair of tyres I'll swap these to the back and fit 2 more to the fronts maybe on slightly more offset rostyle rims yet to be welded up EEK!

I have a bit of a request for a measurement, can someone with a disco 1 with standard springs measure the gap between the bottom spring seat and the top (see picture)
boot/back seats need to be reasonably empty

Many thanks :D

Put a new galv bumper on after my old one got bent in half by an old guy in the local car park. Took the side off his Skoda though! Bless him ... paid me in cash and thanked me lots for not trying to rip him off! :)

some were to put your rich tea and twix ;)

LOL next time it will be cake :) Too busy getting the Landy ready this week.

Just jetwashed all the crap from underneath it. Strange rattly noises have gone, must still have had some of that tree stuck under it
