No such thing as a standard length.
Wot you do is slacken the adjustment (alternator), push it in as far as you can and measure the length around all the pulleys. The pull the adjustment out to its maximum. Measure it again in millimetres.
Write that measurement down and go to Halfords. Look at the V belts with the same number. That's the one you want ; or any number between max and min. Pref closer to min. All there belts are graded by style and length in mm .

Spent an hour with them in Halfrauds, and they only carry a small range!
I will measure it up tomorrow, centre to centre min and max (x2) plus 1/2 diameter on each pulley, and then it seems like fleabay!
More and getting tired!
