Replaced drivers footwell and door pillar on spare 2a bulkhead. And ordered all power steering pipes, defender column, steering wheel off eBay ready to start power steering conversion. Fitted double pulley to the v8. Also topped up clutch fluid in Steff to then find out ten miles later it's gone all down my clutch pedal. Had to drive across town slipping the gears with the revs. Glad I'd just ordered a new slave and master cylinder today!

Then drooled over some led goodies from bolt on bits to spend any future disposable cash on!

get ready to replace your diff and bearing, must got lots of money

What should it be then? EP90?

The Landrover dealership recommended and sold it to me and autodata says to use the same oil?

I put EP90 in the rear diff and transfer box.

ATF in the gearbox and front diff.

tell me then.......... what is the difference between the rear and front diff to need a different oil?

None I shouldn't think. I shall change my front diff oil to EP 90 and give the parts man a piece of my mind!

Tell me then whats the difference between the transfer and gearbox?

transimission has closer tolerances than transfer case. tranmission has a cooler to chill the trans fluid and atf/mtf flows better and heat transfer. and that is how the are made. Think someone made a mistake, in telling you what to use. make google your friend
Or PM james

as said thinner oil transmits heat better ,gear box oil is pumped round the box ,baulk rings have to strip oil off the gear cone to work
