Why?? did you change the stub axles aswell?
10 spline are a little longer than 24 spline stubs

could change stubs to fit but didn't have any to hand. would be as easy to swap full axle.

set off ome from work friday and heard a little blowey exhaust gas escaping noise..

stopped at lr shop to have a look...

firkin bolt fallen out of exhaust manifold!

got another bolt, stuck it in but couldnt get a seal, realised gasket had broke..

got up 7am saturday mornin, stripped injun, sent r lass to get a gasket, stuck it in with the help of defender11069 and kawak.. with the ladies makin bacon butties n coffee..

back runnin by 9.15am and set off to go laning for the day..

Changed the engine oil and filter. Fitted new air and fuel filters. Checked and adjusted the valve clearances.

Replaced the oil+filter, both diff oils and transfer box oil.

I've put ATF in the front diff, What do people think of that??

Isn't ATF thinner than EP90 therefore more chance of it getting past the hub seals?

**** idea - use EP = Extreme Pressure oil.

Fitted a new heater matrix, made up the seals myself from a camping mat.

Fitted the full width rad, DPH silicone coolant hoses and fecked around some more with this damn oil cooler...

Fitted new timing belt and tensioner.
Need a new rad before it goes back together as its looks like its on ots last legs.
Then water pump , P gasket , new hoses and new intercooler hoses to go on.
Also found one of my oil leaks the dipstick tube is broken so nwwd a new one of those as well.

Drove it from Yeovil to WLM's and pikied split charge & a defender Jack. while he weren't looking. nearly had a nice 8274 winch. But the bugger came outta the house whilst I was getting me spanners..

Then drove it to Dafts and got me Porn collection back..

then drove it back to Gloucester****e..
