well the V8 you'd have both and i got about 6/7 extra MPG than the 2.25 petrol :eek:
cant see why the blower would'nt improve what you want tbh and better MPG too.

I got 34 mpg on my last run down your way and back......and I was in a hurry :cool:

Not keen on 115 bhp through Series running gear tbh though I probably would anyway if it were'nt for the added fitting hassle.......Mines an original 6 pot, different bulkhead, and even if you lift to get over the chassis or scoop it you still lose a sizable chunk of footwell
 
fitted me bullbar & spots(see pic), sorted me rattling brake pads and fitted a new buld for the clock, a very productive day!!

Changed engine and gearbox oils, and set valve clearances .. much easier when I took the glowplugs out!
 
Not today but had my NEW set of extreme offset modulars fitted and then swapped my old disco steels for some spot lights then fitted those to my roof rack, last job done was to fit new steering guard which I got from Peterborough show knocked down from £60 - £45 as he had one with a mark on it ....

got out the front door looked at it then slung me chainsaw over me shoulder picked up the jerry can put me head down and walked 1.2 miles in the fookin rain to go and stabilise a massive tree that blew over 3 days ago in me father in laws back yard in the ****ing down rain

am i ever gonna get it sorted out :(:(
 
Busy weekend, changed the gearbox for a recon, changed the input gear for a cross drilled one as the original was fooked, new clutch whilst we was at it, new uj's in front prop, wired in the winch and changed the p gasket, now off to bed for a well earned rest :)
