haha bit of hot merchandise eh
been sitting in me shed for a 12 month (cooling off )
well not really more like i'm a lazy fooker
fair enough I've been trying to keep on top of the jobs on mine
got a couple of patches to weld on the chassis and fit a series door to go on the drivers side (to replace the fender 1 that the thieving pikey coonts bent so far out of true it wont shut )
would have liked to get the front hoop on the roll cage before salisbury trip but just not going to happen
Ordered bits for the conversion oh and got a halfords trade card....happy days.
Nothing, as the new turret rings, coil spring compressors, hd steering rods and ball joints or the g/box mounts didn't bloody turn up!
why are you buying coil spring compressors?
not needed for any job on a landy and dangerous in use.
To compress my...coil springs....I'll take my chances as to how dangerous... I've only been a mechanic for the past 14 years on everything from tanks to recovery trucks still got all 6 fingers on each hand
Trewey's right about not needing spring compressors to change landy springs. They can be dangerous but dangerous or not, they are a necessary tool when changing the front springs on most cars.
Chill out... You may have been a mechanic for the last 14 years but it doesn't mean that you know everything about every vehicle.
Anyone that says they do is a liar.
