Noticed its marking it's territory, after 5k miles of no problems! So got underneath to have a look and it's got an oil leak on the sump, only a minor one though
Nothing, as the new turret rings, coil spring compressors, hd steering rods and ball joints or the g/box mounts didn't bloody turn up!
i did mine with a cutting disc just to slots cb and radio on top panel on mine so no nead to cut it all off still tuck more than 20mins lolStarted fitting the raptor dash today.
The instructions say its a 20 minute job. Is it balls! :frusty:
I have the bigger trunking behind the dash so had to cut the new dash. Its also a complete ball ache trying to cut the original dash with a junior hacksaw, Its even worse when the handle snaps and you have to use it by hand! :frusty:
Oh well, back for more tomorrow!
why are you buying coil spring compressors?
not needed for any job on a landy and dangerous in use.
To compress my...coil springs....I'll take my chances as to how dangerous... I've only been a mechanic for the past 14 years on everything from tanks to recovery trucks still got all 6 fingers on each hand

that 1 is a brand spankin new 1 (not what you know but who you know )
Bastid I saw the new price on DB's site £280
Ebay for ones in better condition for mine were £70+ but I was quite happy winning mine for £40, it works and its still built like a brick ****house so I'm happy to use it as a recovery point
been sitting in me shed for a 12 month (cooling off )
