Not so much anything to do with my landy but the landy parts I'm selling.

Got a message off of a member of ebay asking what colour the harnesses were when the title of my ad reads "Red Securon racing harnesses" ****ing dumb ****

Ordered new fuel tank, as sender locking ring assembly rusted away on old one...
(On the other hand, the bolts came undone relatively easily!)
Fitted new wheels/tyres.
Cried at amount of welding needed on chassis...

Stripped the rear wiper motor down as it was really grinding everytime I turned it on. Cleaned out 18 years of crap from it. Still sounds a bit rough but it's a lot quieter.

Topped up the engine oil, coolant and bleeded the washer pump :D they don't like running air through them, and I have a tiny Tudor washer bottle so it runs out at the worst of times :D

Not today, but over the last week Ive sorted it for its re-mot as it failed it first time round.
Got front discs and pads changed, but, the rigid pipes that go into the calipers were so corroded and siezed Im surprised they didnt fail the MOT on their own, so decided to get new ones made up - got them done, and found out I needed to get new flexi pipes too - got them, and discovered the rigid pipe ends were completely siezed in the calipers, and no matter how much heat, or grinding, or drilling I did to them, they were just not having it, so had to get a new set of calipers too!
New ball joint on drag link - wouldnt come out of the bar, even with me, my bro and his 2 best mates - brute force and ignorance! - so whole drag link needed to be replaced!!
By this time, Im thinking somethings stopping me getting this bloody car back on the road, but I cracked on, and sorted the handbrake out, which tbh was a piece of **** compared to the other 2. All that needed was the cable freeing up, as it had become jammed somehow.

Now all Ive gotta do is get 2 new tyres, both numberplate bulbs, and the MOT place is doing 2 small patches of welding (yes, SMALL!!!.... I know!!!) and it should pass.... should!!

lengthened the steering arm so the disco goes in a nice straight line now, not trusting the guys at the garage any more. re shimmed one of the swivels with play, got one shim left after having them fitted for 5 months all thanks to ****apart (which ive since stopped buying from) changed the fuel filter since it was nearly blocked and watched loads of crap fall out the sedimenter. goes a lot better now though

After being woken up by a buzzing sound to find a bloody big bee 2" from my face at 06.30 :screaming_bug_eye_f decided to distract myself with pc. Ordered a load of soundproofing for rear cab.

Fitted Dixon-Bates Tow Bar to my 90

Given that it wasn't Britpart and game from a Stealer (albeit for just £118 delivered) it didn't exactly just bolt into place

Anyway, 45 mins of angle grinding later it's on and feels solid:)

Had to take loads of the nut/strengthener bar that sits behind the cross member, and a fair bit off one of the supports to the chassis so it would clear the exhaust:mad:

Cleaned all the leaking fluid off the steering box ready for the MOT tomorrow... Still think it'll fail on something else even if the tester lets this leak through:(

Rear wiper and motor removed. Along with all the mud from every little crevice underneath. Who knem there was so many places to get it

Fitted my new seats;
