Where's the pic's then Badgerboy?
Enough light to drive at night with sunglasses? :cool2:
Sounds like over compensation for something to me..........can't imagine what
:hysterically_laughi and i thought i looked so good in black.
As i thought might happen, slapped back into place and exposed as the ill-informed charlatan that i am ...
Ok.. I think you may have convinced me to look again at the Rooflights possibility.
No wonder Barclaycard love me....
Cheers Doc..
5 pinner it may need to be
Makes the most sense that way I reckon, but just to state I am running two feeds onto one pin using a splitter but the 5th pin allows for a separate power source.
I believe it works like this (its how mine look to be wired up);
With the 4 pin you have two outputs (to the lights) one earth and one input/power feed that runs from the source (high beam circuit)
With the 5 pin you have two outputs (to the lights) one earth, one input from the signal source and one input direct from battery so its not taking its power direct from the
full beam circuit
P.S. they're great fun for blinding ****ers that don't dip their headlights cos they think you won't do anything about it
Don't think you've got that quite right mate.
A 4 pin relay should have a live to the battery, an output to the load, an earth contact and a low current switched supply.
A 5 pin relay would have a live to the battery, an output to the load when its energised, an output to the load when its de-energised and a low current switched supply.
Unless yours are different of course.
You should also include fuses to protect the relay and wiring.
Ive attached a couple of diagrams which might be more use than me trying to explain it
hi peps need abit of advice, been to frickley yesterday all well got stuck a few times and had a top day,but when driving home i lost power so pulled up in an off road street and transmision flued all over the floor and where i turned round, any advice to what it can be plz ........
1 LIFE LIVE IT
PM ME OR MESSAGE ME HERE THANKS ALL
I think it was me getting confused by the lack of the 5th pin when I was trying to use the 4's either way the 5 pin ones I'm using are KC relays and they're set up as I described in my post.
**** knows about the 4 pins though all I know is that they're off the old high beam circuit from a disco that was getting broken.
Yep one fuse on the power from battery line and one fuse on the switch is how mines done
I guess the KC ones are specials made specifically to do a job.
dang i only ask for a bit of help not to be put down, sorry for asking
