Does you want a free relay or have you got one en route ?

Drove it to Stoke on Trent to pick up my new comfy front seats;

Well chuffed, can't wait to fit them to the 110 :D

(And yes, the room does have horrible carpet, curtains and decorating, but that's because it's my university room :D)

I'd intended to collect one at Motor Factors close by work tomorrow, but there's no desperate panic ... as i probably wont get back to it until next weekend now .... have you a spare one going a-begging ....

Would bung you a few sovs though ...
thats very good of you, Doc ! :)

That sounds like reasonable thinking !

I was toying with the idea of a roofbar & 4 further lights...
however, I'd been advised against doing so, for 'road use' .. as the back-glare of that much illumination was counter-productive to what i'd be trying to achieve.
( reflected light off roadsignage etc )... and for that reason, had ( at least for the moment, ) abandoned the rooflights plan .

I will however, stand by to be called a mindless heathen pillock, from those who may know far more than I ! :D :D :D :D

You's an amish numpty ;) rooflights are awesome :p my rooflights add up to 1,540,000 cp (nevermind adding in the front HID's too) and although they do glare back off street signs it makes night driving a lot more fun and in fairness I just ignore it for the most part or switch them off before I'm too close cos you can see the buggers from miles off. Signs for the most part are fine though, its the bastarding traffic lights with that super reflective **** on them. On a side note though if I wanted to I could drive at night with my sunglasses on

Only problem I've found is windscreen glare due to the discoverys windscreen angle and the lights I'm using, this has been fixed by getting a peak to go under the lights like what you get on fenders. I'll get some pics at the end of the week once the metalworkers have finished tigging it together and powdercoated it :D

You's an amish numpty ;)
:hysterically_laughi and i thought i looked so good in black. :D

As i thought might happen, slapped back into place and exposed as the ill-informed charlatan that i am ...

Ok.. I think you may have convinced me to look again at the Rooflights possibility.

No wonder Barclaycard love me.... ;)

Cheers Doc..
5 pinner it may need to be :)

Enough light to drive at night with sunglasses? :cool2:

Sounds like over compensation for something to me..........can't imagine what :D:D

Ordered new wheels/tyres, as the old wheels are really grotty and the missus is fed up with the turning circle of 265/75s. Finished boarding out rear load-bed area, with fitted rubber matting and tie-downs and a bulkhead & grille to stop the dogs sitting on the rear seats and passengers when covered in mud and pond muck. Changed the windscreen washer, now I have two jets not the one. Cleaned out the inside. Ordered new mirror for passenger side door. :)
It's a good job I've ordered the wheels/tyres, as when dropping off my mate I went to put air in at the garage, and the valve middle blew out! I used the jack to lift the rear corner, and the cross member that I thought was a little rusty turned out to be a lot rusty, and deformed badly. Luckily I had a bottle jack too, and managed to get the wheel changed. Note to self - Get bottle jack with longer stroke and a handle longer than the six-inch POS that is with the one I have... :(
Come mid-week I should have 4 used but OK Goodyear Wrangler 265/75/16 (AT/s ? I'll check this evening) on steel to sell. Wheels are grotty, I reckon they all will need new valves (one certainly does!), but tyres look fine. More details to follow...

Why aren't all vehicles like Defenders to work on. Just change a new speedo for a KPH one. Took me 10 minutes and a brand new one cost me £75.
Three years ago the speedo on my Renault Senic packed up. Cost £1600 and had to be done at the Renault agent.
Whilst I had my hands dirty I fixed the rear wiper. Blown fuse.
Went Green laning in it yesterday through the forest and along the river bank. Water level in the river was high, the grass banks were soaked and boggy. Thought I was going to have to find a friendly farmer to get towed out but with Diff locks on it managed to get through. Must find someone over here to go with or get a winch.
