So far i have washed mine...

Now for the service, new brake pads, wheel bearing, new axle breather's (managed to snap one some how :doh: ) and anything else that pops up in the process.
 
Riv-nutted my fire extinguisher onto the rear door instead of the self-tappers used previously ..

.. and finished putting the cb aerial somewhere it won't get knocked off .. ;)

Biatch to do, had to put extra wiring in so I could get a good earth point to swr it in properly .. just wouldn't swr below 3.5 ish on the alloy, no matter how much paint I scraped off!! .. Wire link to a screw lower down the body sorted all that .. ;)

4m of cable was just enough ... 6" less would not have fitted ... ;)

re-fitted my old brake servo and master cylinder, de-greased all the brakes again, de-greased the front axle completely, got rid of all the grease on the backs of the front wheels, and finally got round to changing the brake light bulb!!
 
Filled it with doizil and drove it round Exmoor. Watched the deer and chatted to some "boyo,s" on the CB.
Had the obligatory ice-cream at top of Porlock hill:).
 
WOOHOO my brakes work properly at last!!!! had a lengthy drive to the shops and they seem to be working perfectly again:D

can get back to tailgating silly liitle cars till they get out of my way now mwahahahahahahaha :D:D:D
 
well over the last 2 days, I've replaced Panhard rod bushes, front radius arm to chassis bushes, rear radius arm to chassis bushes and fitted a new clutch, just had a test drive in her and the clutch pedal is a bit low. Think the slave cylinder is fooked. but the really good news is, that the nasty wobble I had seems to have fooked orf.. It's taken noo swivels, swivel pins, lower swivel bearings, wheel bearings, steering damper and noo bushes to cure the bugger though. Assuming it is cured and the bugger doesn't return in the next day or 2.
