I'll be honest I hate Landies with seriously wide rude boy wheels. These are tall and skinny I can't be doing with wide tyres that stick out past the wheel spats. I think they will be ok no good for trialling tho, but not as bad as you think. Almost full lock is achiveable. More for offroad recovery work, a bit of towing a few trips abroad and some light greenlaning where normal 750 AT's are more than adaquate. Jai
 
I just got to find/build as cheap as possible, a trailer that can carry an 88 and a set of tyres with decent brakes and a raised nato hitch
 
Decided to make a start, in for a penny eh? :eek:

painted OS footwell. underbody schutzed the underneath of the OS footwell and tried to waxoil some of the chassis again. HAve to sort out a proper heater system for the waxoil.
 
MOT'd the wife's disco. It failed on tyre and a bulb, but fixed them. Then reversed into an open stable door and smashed the rear light cluster. Bllx to parking sensors......

Not done much tae mine today 'cos ah'm needin' some silly wee plastic rivets fur the cover that goes over the wirin' loom.. should be here tomorrow along with some of them clutch/brake pipe clips and some of thum cable tie thingies with a rivet type thingy.
ah was bored so ah rubbed down me other fuel tank and gave it a good coat of paint....
